Rev. Patrick Paul
Patrick serves as the National Superintendent of The Assemblies of God in The Bahamas including the Turks & Caicos Islands for over 16 years. He is responsible for providing the national vision and direction of the denomination as it seeks to serve God through services to His church and the community at large.
Dr. Paul has accepted the mandate to be a catalyst for change. He believes that the current, relevant, transcending Word of God is the only true and lasting hope for a precious but misled generation, and has committed his life to be a voice for social and spiritual transformation.
Dr. Paul serves as the Director for the Assemblies of God Bible College and is determined to pass a healthy legacy onto the next generation. To this end, he was instrumental in implementing the Master’s Degree Program at the Assemblies of God Bible College and the Christian Service Degree, a College preparatory program that prepares laity for tertiary education.
Dr. Paul serves as the Economic Chairperson for the Bahamas Christian Council and has been instrumental in launching several national initiatives, such as the Character Development Program for the Educational system and the Bahamas Correctional Services Department. He has authored a junkanoo Coloring Book and a History of the Modern Bahamas interactive colouring book, covering the first forty years; to educate our people and aimed at lifting the socioeconomic position of the masses in The Bahamas and calling the country back to its National Core Values.
Rev. Paul also funded a Community documentary covering the crime challenges in the inner cities and served as Deputy Chairman for the Parole and Probation Committee, which serves as an advisory Board to the Ministry of National Security.
Rev. Paul now chairs several transformational national initiatives for the economic empowerment of the masses, the Bahamas Investment Group of Companies Ltd., a vehicle to enable Bahamians to own their economy, and The Church Commercial Farming Group, to increase food security in The Bahamas.
Rev. Paul also chairs the Global Network Bahamas Hub, which is connected to the international Billion Souls Network and unites the churches in The Bahamas in this global mission.
Rev. Paul also led Unite Bahamas, a coalition of churches across denominational boundaries whose common goal and mission are to pray for revival in The Bahamas and reclaim our inner cities, which have been severely impacted by record numbers of homicide.
Rev. Paul authored a Poetry Book, “Powerful Reflections”, where he brings the unity of the Trinity into Nature and shows how it is reflected in human sociology and demonstrated in culture. Rev. Paul believes that theology must be understood and obeyed for the believer to be empowered.
Rev. Paul has great insight into the Scriptures and has the ability to exegete the Word of God in its context. His passion to deliver the Word is confirmed by commanding change.
Rev. Paul is married to the former Charlene Rozetta Miller, and they are blessed with three (3) lovely children, Sheniqua, Jabez and Kezia, two granddaughters and a son-in-law, Pastor Bruce Davis.
